Important Notice!

You cannot access the GothicNet application due to the following:

Cookies are disabled in your browser.



The GothicNet application requires cookies to be enabled.  Please enable cookies, and retry this application.

A Cookie is used by this application to maintain a "session" with you, and is deleted when the browser is closed. No personal information is stored in cookies unless explicitly approved by you.


 How To Enable Cookies?

Enabling cookies involves an adjustment to your browser settings. Follow these directions to enable cookies on the browsers listed below, depending upon your computer operating system (ie. PC USERS or MAC USERS):




Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0:

1. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
2. Click the Privacy tab, and in Setting section click the Advanced button.
3. Click Custom Level or change the security level; the Security Settings window is checked
4. Check the "Allways allow session cookies"; Click the 'OK' button.
5. Click the 'OK' button on the Internet Options window.
6. Close all Explorer windows, than restart Internet Explorer.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0:

1. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
2. Click the Security tab and select the Internet Web content zone.
3. Click Custom Level or change the security level; the Security Settings window is accessed.
4. Scroll down to "Cookies" and "Allow Per Session Cookies (not stored)", and click 'Enable' for both options.
5. Click OK; cookies are enabled.
6. Click here; the 'Search' screen is accessed. Proceed with the sign in procedure.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0:

1. On the View menu, click Internet Options.
2. On the Advanced tab, click the "Always accept cookies" option.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0:

1. On the View menu, select Options.
2. Click the Advanced tab.
3. In the Warnings section, make sure that Warn Before Accepting Cookies is not checked.
4. Click OK.

Netscape Navigator 3.0:

1. On the Options menu, click Network Preferences.
2. In the "Show an alert before…" box on the Protocols tab, clear the "Accepting a cookie" box.

Netscape Navigator 4.x:

1. On the Edit menu, click Preferences. Choose the Advanced category.
2. In the cookies dialog box, choose either "Accept only cookies that get sent back to the originating server" or "Accept
all cookies."
3. Clear the "Warn me before accepting cookies" checkbox.

Macintosh/Power PC systems using Internet Explorer 3 or 4:

1. On the Edit menu, select Preferences.
2. Under Receiving Files, click Cookies.
3. Under When Receiving Cookies, select Never Ask.
4. Click OK.

IBM-compatible systems using AOL:

This is a two-part process. Part 2 involves different methods for the two different software versions.

Part 1:
1. Click My AOL.
2. Click Preferences.
3. Click WWW.

Part 2:
Once you are viewing the WWW box, you will have to try each of the following methods. One of them should meet your needs:

Version A:

4. Click the Security tab.
5. Click the Custom Level or change the Security Level to Medium... button. Then, under Cookies, click Enable for both options.

Version B:
4. Click on the Advanced tab.
5. Under Security, scroll to the Cookies section and click Always Accept Cookie.
6. Click OK.

Macintosh/Power PC systems using AOL:

1. From the My AOL menu on the AOL toolbar, select Preferences.
2. Select the WWW icon.
3. Click Advanced Settings.
4. Under Receiving Files, select Cookies.
5. Under "When Receiving Cookies," select "Never Ask".

Macintosh/Power PC systems using Netscape:

1. From the Edit menu, choose Preferences.
2. Click the Advanced category.
3. Under Cookies check Accept All Cookies.
